Our Junior Warden, Catherine Parham, wrote the letter below to the congregation, calling all to join together for a Prayer Meeting on Sunday, April 7:
Dear CCFC friends,
I was struck, as we thought about the last chapter of Colossians some Sundays ago, by Paul’s instruction in 4:2 “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” Do you agree that we, as a body have much
for which to be thankful?
It was comforting to hear from Paul that “Epaphras who is one of you” is “always struggling on your behalf in his prayers” (4:12); I’m not the only struggler!
Let’s be steadfast and meet after the 10am service (and a chance to caffeinate) on April 7 and struggle together in prayers of thanksgiving, seeking His will and looking for ways to be servants to Him and each other.
I hope to see you there.
